Where would I check that? To answer your other question, the cable comes in and plugs directly into the box so I don't think there's any other equipment. To clarify - the router just has one cable going from the "modem" port blue connecting to the modem. The ethernet cables for both computers are plugged directly into the modem not the wireless router.
